Castle of Shadows

Castle of Shadows - Ellen Renner Five stars? I want to give this book a thousand stars. It's probably the best written kids' book ice read, maybe ever, definitely this (school) year so far. I love it. Usually a book has me either holding my breath in suspense or gasping at the beauty of the language and this one did both, all without ever getting bogged down or boring. I loved every single second of reading this book, and I can't wait to get my greedy hands on the next one and hopefully find a copy for my library because I have to know what happens to Princess Charlie!
